What’s the hiring process? It depends

Your Role at impact.com:

We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to support the growth and development of our data analytics competency at Impact. As our business expands, we increasingly rely on sophisticated data products and insights to drive data-driven decision-making.

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining data workflows to move, transform, aggregate, and enrich data from various sources into a centralised data warehouse and data marts. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration and optimization of our data infrastructure. What You'll Do:

  • Write, optimise, and maintain SQL queries to support data transformation and analysis. Ensure the performance and scalability of SQL code and participate in code reviews to maintain best practices.

Your Role at impact.com:

As the Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for managing the global accounting function and a highly complex global financial operations function while continually improving procedures, processes, and systems.  Reporting to the VP, Global Controller and working closely with key stakeholders across the company, you will play an integral role in supporting our growth as we continue to scale globally.

What You'll Do:

  • Direct the organization's accounting, financial operations, tax, and financial reporting activities for a complex, 1,200 person, multi-entity, multi-currency, global company
  • Provide technical and operational accounting guidance, including but not limited to, preparation of technical accounting memos, desktop procedures, and accounting policies, incorporating accounting best practices, to provide guidance and clarity to the organization 
  • Oversee the closing processes for month-end and year-end, including preparing financial statements and reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders 
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards under U.S. GAAP; work with auditors to drive timely close of annual audit and maintain an effective control environment 
  • Coordinate timely external audits and manage tax filings 
  • Assess and enhance financial workflows and procedures for optimal efficiency and effectiveness

Your Role at impact.com:

The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing events, including trade shows, industry conferences, and company-hosted events, to ensure they run smoothly and meet their objectives. The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of how to marry business objectives with event experience, thrives “in the weeds,” is a detailed and organized planner, a creative problem-solver, and an expert communicator comfortable leading people at all levels. 

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with internal stakeholders (Sales, Client Success, or other internal teams)  to collaborate on event needs, goals, and success metrics. Establish clear roles and responsibilities. Enable attending staff with reports, event briefs, staff meetings, and other resources to ensure they're set up for success.
  • Developing event plans, including timelines, schedules, and task assignments. This involves coordinating with vendors, venues, and other service providers. Managing event requirements like registration, overseeing contracts, building internal event landing pages on CVENT, working with internal teams to ensure accurate event reporting, and ordering and shipping required materials. 
  • Developing and executing marketing strategies in collaboration with the broader marketing team to promote the event, which can include social media, demand generation, design, and public relations, among other promotional strategies. 
  • Overseeing the event on the day to ensure everything runs according to plan, handling any issues that arise, and managing the event staff.
  • Creating and managing the event budget, ensuring costs are controlled, submitting bills for payment, and reconciling corporate credit card charges. 
  • Conducting analysis after the event to assess its success, gather attendee and stakeholder feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Update reports to track event success over time. 
  • Owning the iPX sponsorship program: iPX is our annual customer and thought leadership conference with 1,000+ attendees and 20+ sponsors. Leading the sponsorship program from idea inception and development to sales and contracting with sponsors, and forecasting sponsor ROI using data to back up suggestions. Launching assets like a sponsorship prospectus, email templates, a template agreement, a landing page, and other assets needed to promote and sell sponsorships. Selling sponsorships to customers and partners to meet team goals.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of events management experience

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Products & Pages Data Teams. Your Role at impact.com:

As the Senior Product Manager for impact.com's Reporting teams, you'll be responsible for surfacing critical data and insights that enable brands and partners to make informed decisions and optimize their strategies within the marketplace.This role is responsible for overseeing teams that not only enable powerful data visualizations but also bring those visualizations together into meaningful and actionable reports and dashboards.

Your Role at impact.com:

The Channel Partnerships Manager is responsible for the overall growth of Impact’s partnerships with agencies and tech partners in ANZ. Your Role at impact.com:

The Solutions Consultant will partner with the sales organization to drive revenue for impact.com. The Solutions Consultant role requires a team member to have both technical knowledge and business acumen giving them the skills to uncover our customers current and future states as well as business goals in order to effectively position impact.com technology. Your Role at impact.com:

This person is an expert at Impact technology and will be tasked to deliver custom engineering and advanced technical support to customers that buy those services, or as determined by the Impact leadership team. Your Role at impact.com:

As a member of the Studio team, our in-house influencer marketing experts, you will be responsible for contributing to multiple accounts across verticals, including fashion, parenting, food, technology, and more. We design and manage campaigns for clients from introductory tests to year-long brand ambassador programs. In this role, you will manage the execution from start to finish for a select group of clients and support senior team members on a variety of larger programs. This role reports to an Account Manager on the Studio team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages and supports execution, from casting through reporting
  • Leads kick-off calls and responds to client emails
  • Preps kick-off call docs and all internal and external organization
  • Sources influencers for each campaign and recommends qualified influencers based on brand requirements such as follower count, location, niche, and audience demographics
  • Communicates extensively with creators, including leading negotiations, facilitating product orders, and gathering content drafts
  • Creates influencer campaign brief based on guidelines given by brand as well as FTC guidelines
  • Monitors budgets and program timelines to ensure our revenue goals and client deadlines are met
  • Reviews influencer content to ensure they meet requirements set in the brief and are free of spelling and grammar errors
  • Provides excellent customer service and expertise, ensuring both the clients and creators are happy and impressed with our services

Overview: SPOT is an impact.com contextual advertising service which places retail product listings on relevant commerce content articles (for instance Buzzfeed Shopping or CNN Underscored). Key Objective: The Senior Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for our clients, providing strategic guidance and ensuring campaigns meet and exceed client expectations. 



What You'll Do:

Advertiser strategy and execution

    1. Liaising with advertisers to create an internal sales brief which outlines the goals and general content requirements of the campaign.
    2. Plan campaigns based on content of sales brief, taking into account advertiser’s campaign objectives, copy/style preferences and any other guidelines or requirements.

Your Role at impact.com:

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to play a pivotal role in establishing a robust data analytics competency at Impact. As our business expands, we increasingly rely on sophisticated data products and insights to drive data-driven decision-making.

In this role, you'll take the lead in designing and implementing efficient data workflows to move, transform, aggregate, and enrich data from various sources into a centralised data warehouse and data marts. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration and optimization of our data infrastructure. Our ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data engineering, a deep understanding of data analytics, and the ability to effectively collaborate across teams to deliver impactful solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and maintain scalable data models that meet business requirements, ensuring best practices in schema design. Collaborate with analysts, and stakeholders to translate data needs into effective models.
  • Write, optimise, and maintain complex SQL queries to support data transformation and analysis. Ensure the performance and scalability of SQL code and conduct code reviews to maintain best practices.

  • Administer and support multiple MySQL database instances in a shared environment

The Senior DevOps Engineer is accountable for actively engaging in the creation and advancement of automated, containerized cloud application platforms. They are tasked with conceptualizing and implementing DevOps processes that leverage these platforms effectively. Your Role at impact.com:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Impact, your key responsibilities will carry a dual mandate, being to deliver the highest quality software to our end users while simultaneously ensuring the persistence of the quality standard by means of automated regression. This is a rare opportunity in QA to have a direct influence on the quality of our software through every phase of the feature delivery workflow. This role will fully encompass all responsibilities associated with the Quality Assurance complement for a designated squad.

 

The applicant who is ultimately successful will be expected to scrutinize new features with a high attention to detail and document the methodology utilized in the form of a detailed test plan containing the respective test cases specific to the feature. Upon successful deployment of the feature, the scenarios detailed in the test plan are then to be automated using Java and selenium webdriver.

The person filling this role will also be mandated with conducting the regression testing phase of the deployment workflow process and reporting on results timeously. The successful candidate will partner closely with software Development Engineers and Product Managers to understand product requirements as well as functionality for developing appropriate build scripts, test plans and test cases.

What You Have:

  • Solid understanding of computer programming and software development
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in the FINTECH industry.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Jasmine, POM, Cucumber and frameworks)
  • Solid understanding of financial systems, transactions, and security protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests

 Your Role at impact.com:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Impact, your key responsibilities will carry a dual  mandate, being to deliver the highest quality software to our end users while simultaneously ensuring the persistence of the quality standard by means of automated regression. This is a rare opportunity in QA to have a direct influence on the quality of our software through every phase of the feature delivery workflow. This role will fully encompass all responsibilities associated with the Quality Assurance complement for a designated squad.

The applicant who is ultimately successful will be expected to scrutinize new features with a high attention to detail and document the methodology utilised in the form of a detailed test plan containing the respective test cases specific to the feature.  Upon successful deployment of the feature, the scenarios detailed in the test plan are then to be automated using Java and selenium webdriver.

The person filling this role will also be mandated with conducting the regression testing phase of the deployment workflow process and reporting on results timeously. The successful candidate will partner closely with software Development Engineers and Product Managers to understand product requirements as well as functionality for developing appropriate build scripts, test plans and test cases.

What You'll Do:

  • Accountable for Automation Testing
  • Accountable for creating, configuring and maintaining a suite of automated regressions tests & their environment

  • Sign-off on manually scripted test cases
  • Review and action pull requests 
  • Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.
  • Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of the overall system.
  • Define test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions
  • Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the SDLC.
  • Maintain effective communication with the project software engineers on project limitation, capability, performance requirement and hardware interface changes.
