Your Role at impact.com:

The Paralegal will provide support to our General Counsel, the legal team and impact.com team members in the NAM region in the following areas: contract drafting and review, order form review and processing, contract database and file maintenance, contract lifecycle management, report preparation and presentation, RFP/RFI participation & assistance, privacy requests and document/agreement review, corporate compliance and corporate governance matters, client and strategic partner related searches and filings, litigation support, administrative matters, and other legal matters and assistance as needed, including research and special projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Administer routine contract requirements, maintain contract calendar, prepare and file required filings
  • Conduct research and resolve routine law questions under the guidance of supervising attorney
  • Prepare routine documents, agreements and instruments, such as confidentiality, consulting, commercial agreements (client, strategic partner and vendors), and insurance certificates
  • Maintain and manage contract lifecycle management process and databases
  • Handle information requests to and from company personnel from legal department as well as other business units, including research of legal matters and historical information from company records and information from other departments regarding corporate entities, commercial transactions and litigation; review documents and transmit information and documents to outside counsel and company personnel with minimal guidance
  • Coordinate with marketing, General Counsel and outside counsel regarding trademark and branding matters
  • Furnish assistance in financing and business development transactions, including due diligence, review and preparation of schedules
  • Furnish litigation support including file set-up and maintenance, document and fact gathering, review and preparation of discovery materials, and coordination of work through impact.com legal team and outside counsel
  • Manage special projects, both internally sourced and outsourced to consultants or outside counsel
  • Undertake other ad hoc projects at the request of, or in conjunction with, the General Counsel, C-Level and leadership team, as well as other members of the legal team

What You Have:

  • Paralegal Degree or Certification required (as per jurisdictional requirements); bachelor’s degree (although law degree preferred)
  • 2-10 years corporate legal experience (in-house preferred)
  • Driven and self-motivated with a strong desire for learning
  • Extremely organized with a strong sense of priority, urgency and commitment to deadlines
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload and prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently while functioning well in a team environment
  • Ability to understand general business operations, issues and dynamics beyond the scope of basic legal issues
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members of other departments in order to support
  • their functions as well as to assist them in supporting the legal staff
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint & Excel), Apple products and CLM database experience preferred
  • English language fluency (both spoken and written), legal terminology expertise

Nice to have:

Salary range: $100,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year, plus additional 5% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance and eligible to receive Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.

Executive Assistant and Office Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Manager and Executive Assistant to oversee daily operations at our Seattle office and provide administrative support to three members of our West Coast based executive team. This role combines executive support with office management, requiring excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Office Management:

  • Provide an on-site presence, greeting, screening, and directing visitors.
  • Ensure a friendly and welcoming office atmosphere.
  • Manage office supplies, catering for meetings, and the lunch delivery program.
  • Serve as the primary contact for vendors and property management, addressing building operations needs rapidly.
  • Maintain physical site security and manage badge access.
  • Oversee mail/package deliveries and manage FedEx and UPS accounts.
  • Organize and execute corporate events, offsites, and team gatherings.

Executive Assistant Support:

  • Manage executive calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and organizing appointments.
  • Assist in project management to enhance workflows.
  • Maintain systems and processes to boost efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of Google Suite (Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other productivity tools
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

This role requires being on-site in the Seattle office Tuesday through Thursday and on other days as required based on visitors and group activities

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, plus 5% Company Bonus Plan Plan and stock (RSU) award.
